Hello, friend!

I’m McKenna.

I’m a photographer based in Southwest, North Dakota. I have been a professional photographer for 6+ years!

I got married in 2024 to my lovely husband Tate. Getting married myself really made me realize how special weddings are and made my intentions behind shooting them much different.

MY STORY

    1. I got my first camera at 17

    When I was 17 I got my first camera. I started taking photos at sports games for my highschool.

    2. I booked my first photoshoot

    After doing sports photos for about a year, I had a family reach out to me about doing their family photos - my first paid shoot!

    3. I started taking on actual clients

    After this photoshoot I made all my friends model for me and started posting them on social media. From here I had a steady stream of people asking me to book photoshoots.

    4. I went full time as a photographer

    I decided that this is the direction I wanted to go in life and that I wanted to be a full time photographer. I booked my first wedding in 2020 and from there I knew that this was my passion.

Traveling

My favorite thing is roadtrips, but i’m not opposed to getting on a plane and going somewhere tropical!

I’m not a huge dog person, but this little guy is my favorite dog ever.

Hunting

Spending time in nature brings me so much joy. I almost always hunt with my family and that just makes it that much more special!
